When it gets unusually cold, snowy, and/or rainy, do you prefer to remain indoors? If there's a long stretch of bad weather, do you tend to get depressed and/or stir crazy? If so, how do you cope?

Living in north Queensland, we don't have snow and it doesn't get cold for longer than a week, if we are lucky. But we do get rain, alot of it. And I, for one, love it. We have rain every day since Christmas day and it is lovely. I love to sit by an open window and let the breeze and the rain droplets float through the window as I read a good book or watch a good movie. In fact, I am sitting here right now, listening to the rain on the tin roof while I am updating with the movie Heat on in the background. I love wet weather in Townsville.

Every year as we decorate the tree we listen to the same song - "Come on ring those bells" by Evie. It is a very happy, and upbeat and playful song that makes up smile as we decorate the tree. It puts us in the Christmas mood. Until this year, we always had the cats with us to open presents and we always got them a GOOD tin of tuna each. But that tradtion is not here this year, as our cats are now gone. BUt it will be back again next year, as the kittens will be cats then.

My Billie girl is gone.

It was so quick and so gentle.

She just went to sleep.

She tried to purr but she couldn't, she smooched me, which she hadn't done for a few days.

I think she was thanking me...

She is gone, she is at peace and she is with Larry.

My Billie is dying, she can barley breath, she hasn't eaten anything, she hasn't had anything to drink today.

I think I have to get her put down this afternoon.

She is not here anymore. Billie has gone, its just her body now, her body still breathes and has blood pumping through it's system, but Billie is gone.

Billie is not Billie anymore...

Looks like I am going to have to get my cat put down this weekend.

She is not herself anymore. She does not purr or cry, she has lost her eyesight and she barely eats.

She is not helself. And I am really scared.

I can not remember life without her. I have had her since I was three. I don't want her gone.

I already miss her.

She is home, she is healthy and she is happy.

She is still in pain, but she is healthy and happy.

I have missed her so much the past few days. She has to go back to the vet on Wednesday for a check up but that's all she should be fine by the end of the week.

She is home.

And we have another cat...we now, again, have three.

I just went to visit her, and she is okay.

She is purring and kneeding and drooling and this is all Billie. She seems fine which is great.

Mum ran into one of vet nurses at the butcher shop and she said Billie is doing alot better today that she was yesterday..

The vet nuse said she would call us around 8am if something bad had happened to her, and it is now 10:45 and no phone call.

She's ok-ish...

She had an abcess and is dehydrated, my sisters kitten attacked her by the looks of things. The vet seems positive that if we keep her in hospital until Monday on Antibiotics and with a drip in her, she may be fine. We hope.

She's been away from me for less than an hour and I miss her, what am I going to be like without my kitty?

I have cried so much in the past two hours, I think I am now dehydrated...

It looks like my Billie Cat, 19 years, might have to be put down.

Less than a month after Larry was killed.

I don't want this to happen...not this soon...

The ginger kitty is my Billie Cat, and the grey fluffball is Larry, he was 16 when he was put down.

Our cat, Larry got put to sleep today.

He was attacked by dogs last night and they broke his leg.

The council came, the firemen came and even a journalist.

However, the poor boy had to be put down.

RIP Larry.

Work-I hate it

I am stressed.

So much so that I have the next week off work. I need it.

I hate my job and it is stressing me out so much that last week when driving to work, I drove half the way there with the handbrake on, merged into the wrong lane which meant that I had to merge across three lanes of traffic to get to the correct lane to get onto the motorway, I then could not park my car (reverse par, forwards park, reverse parallel or forwards parrallel) so I came home. I then burnt my pizza and twisted my ankle and I hate my job.

And now I've had an email from my supervisor asking for my login and password to log into my computer WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
